The Naxian Sea National AAAAA-level scenic area is located in the northern coastal area of Weihai City, Shandong Province. It is bordered by the Yellow Sea to the north and the Buliu River to the south. With its beautiful seas and skies, forests and beaches, it boasts a superior ecological environment. Developed and constructed since 2012, the scenic area covers a total area of 3.2 square kilometers. It operates distinctive cultural and tourism projects such as Naxian Sea Chicken-Calling Island, Xianghai Forest Hot Springs, Naxian Sea Cultural and Art Center, Xianghai Flower Street, and Naxian Sea Adventure World, as well as several star-rated hotels. In 2017, it was approved as a National AAAAA-level scenic area.

Naxian Sea Scenic Area brings together many recreational projects, including leisure beaches, European-style streets, an adventure world, health-promoting hot springs, and romantic islands, catering to the recreational and holiday needs of all ages and seasons.

1. Leisure Beach

The Naxian Sea Diamond Beach Bathing Area is approximately 2500 meters long. The coast where it is located is known as one of the eight most beautiful coasts in mainland China. Due to the widespread distribution of unique patterned stones, it is called the "Patterned Stone Treasure Beach". The Diamond Beach Bathing Area has clear seawater, fine sand, and a water quality compliance rate consistently maintained at 100%, making it a representative seaside bathing area in Weihai.

Yacht and Sailing Club

The Yacht and Sailing Club, a square spiral staircase-shaped building made of fair-faced concrete, combines coffee, bars, music, and marine sports. It is a high-end yacht club and marine recreation experience destination, creating a high-end marine leisure space to meet the needs of tourists for sports, leisure, and business. Recreational activities include: water sports (sightseeing yachts, jet skis, speedboats, wave-making boats, drift boats, flyboarding, water bicycles, wakeboarding, etc.), beach sports (beach ATVs, beach motorcycles, beach volleyball, beach soccer, beach frisbee, etc.).

Watcher No. 2

Watcher No. 2, a popular building on the Diamond Beach Bathing Area, has a leisure seating area and sanitary showers on the first floor, and a panoramic ocean view cafe on the second floor, offering various coffees, drinks, and snacks. The exterior features a beach leisure area with a variety of marine entertainment projects such as jet skis, speedboats, and surfing.

Recreational activities include: jet skis, speedboats, inflatable boats, inflatable tow surfing, surfboards, windsurfing, pedal boats, beach camping, and sea fishing.

Infinity Pool

The infinity pool offers visitors a unique summer seaside vacation experience.

2. European-style Street

The overall architecture of the scenic area is European in style, creating a unique and fashionable cultural and tourism destination. This includes the Xianghai Flower Street, the British Blue Bridge, the Cultural and Art Center, the Motorcycle Music Museum, and the Ferris Wheel Park.

Xianghai Flower Street

Xianghai Flower Street is a distinctive cultural and tourism street area based on European British culture, incorporating romantic coastal charm. It is a scenic landmark for leisure and vacation in Naxian Sea. It focuses on catering, leisure, shopping, cultural and creative industries, and film, meeting the needs of all-day leisure and vacation life, providing one-stop services for eating, drinking, playing, and shopping.

British Blue Bridge

The British Blue Bridge is a landmark building of Naxian Sea, connected to the Ferris Wheel Park and Xianghai Flower Street, forming a tourist sightseeing area integrating dining and entertainment.

Cultural and Art Center

The Naxian Sea Cultural and Art Center consists of a cultural and art exhibition hall, a concert hall, and a cafe. The overall building has a beautiful and unique style, making it ideal for photo opportunities. For many years, the center has hosted various national, provincial, and municipal cultural exhibitions, orchestral performances, and concerts, and visitors can visit free of charge.

Ferris Wheel Park

The large lakeside leisure and entertainment complex—Ferris Wheel Park—includes amusement facilities such as a Ferris wheel and carousel, as well as water entertainment projects such as kayaks, leisure boats, rowboats, and water bicycles.

3. Adventure World

Naxian Sea Adventure World is embedded in the forest. It is an immersive, technological, and highly interactive adventure theme park with a total construction area of 12,000 square meters. Currently, it has opened three themed pavilions: the Amusement Racing Pavilion, the Ice and Snow Adventure Pavilion, and the Parent-Child Science and Technology Pavilion, as well as a 1200-mu outdoor amusement park. It is a parent-child research and study/study tour comprehensive experience center integrating cultural, sports, and educational experiences.

4. Health-Promoting Hot Springs

Xianghai Forest Hot Springs is located within the 2000-plus mu Xianghai Forest Park and is one of the three major hot springs in Weihai. Surrounded by precious black pine forests, it offers a quiet environment and fresh, clean air, with a negative ion concentration of 30,000-60,000 per cubic centimeter. The hot springs have five indoor pools and 21 outdoor pools, and are equipped with a sand bath health club, a stone bath medical and health club, and a self-service restaurant, providing a relaxing and peaceful hot spring vacation experience.

5. Artistic Island

Naxian Sea Chicken-Calling Island is located about 8 kilometers north of Rongcheng Tiger Head Cape in Weihai City, covering an area of approximately 0.31 square kilometers. It is named after its shape, which resembles a rooster. The fishing village on the island is the only island village in Rongcheng City, with a history of over 400 years. It is a typical carrier of the characteristic fishing village culture of the Jiaodong Peninsula. Chicken-Calling Island boasts beautiful island scenery and diverse cultural characteristics. It also has many leisure and entertainment facilities and island homestays. Outside the island, there are operating service facilities such as a visitor service center, a peninsula restaurant, a sea corner art gallery, and a monitoring command center, creating a high-quality island vacation experience.
