Just finished my first ever seaside camping trip at Baihewan last week! Here's a hard-earned guide for you~

Basic Information

Location: East coast of Xiekou Island, Haiwan South Road, Rongcheng City

Opening Hours: 9:00-18:00

Parking: There is a paid parking lot at the entrance of the scenic area, but there is a free parking area 300 meters south.

Camping Tips

Equipment Suggestions: Bring your own lightweight tent; the scenic area provides free awnings and tables and chairs.

Site Selection Tips:

Prioritize the pine forest area on the east side of the beach; it's sheltered from the wind and private;

For beachcombing enthusiasts, choose near the boardwalk close to the intertidal zone; you can dig up small crabs during low tide;

Hidden Benefit: The children's play area is completely free! The Ferris wheel is super dreamy for photos; remember to wear light-colored clothes~

Hard-Learned Lessons

The weather changes quickly by the sea! Be sure to bring windproof ropes and stakes to secure your tent.

Beach motorcycle/horse riding and other projects will open in April; currently, you can only take empty shots.

The supermarket prices are relatively high; bringing your own mineral water and snacks is more cost-effective.

Baihewan in spring has fewer people and beautiful scenery. Sitting in the tent and watching the waves kiss the beach, this is the correct way to open the slow life of Weihai~
